Here we go again; this was a constant thing at several previous apartments in several different cities in the 1980s, 1990s, early 2000s, & is here now in this city.

Is not only at these apartments, is also at businesses in town, such as the photo outside Walmart last year.

So what's the deal with smokers; does smoking turn them in to filthy disgusting deplorable people or do they smoke because they were filthy disgusting deplorable people to begin with?

If they don't care about what they're doing to their lungs, then why would they care about leaving cigarette butts all over the ground?

The latter. The sorts of people that take up smoking nowadays are usually trashy people. They behave badly in other ways, too. They start smoking because they have no brain. Not all smokers fit in this stereotype but the majority of them do.

At least you will never see a NON-smoker throwing his/her cigarette butts on the ground like that.

Smokers Suck Butts!

When I used to smoke cigarettes at home I put my butts into a long neck beer bottle.

Then I'd throw the bottle onto the sidewalk.

Just kidding about that last part.

That's probably ten thousand dollars worth of smokes where I live. Maybe an overestimate, maybe not. But yeah, littering is one of those things that annoys me, and that annoyance rises the further away it's from civilization.

As far as I can tell, it's not exclusive to just cigarette smokers and I'm sure there's a plethora of such that have manners.
