My favourite year is 1965 because that's when The Kinks had most of their hits in Britain, the Canadian flag as I know it was flown for the first time and that's the year that my favourite TV show, Hogan's Heroes made its debut.

I would like to hear from the rest of you. What is your favourite year and why?

Probably 1999-2000 because I seemed the happiest I ever was - I wasn't lonely like I was in my teens, and I was normal at school and had caught up with my peers socially and emotionally (before I fell back again), and things were going well in my life and everybody in my family were well and happy. Plus the millennium was so exciting.

That was a good time to be alive.

Well this year's been good.

I've been out loads, met loads of new people who are all good influences in my life. Been to two race meetings and I've got a third one coming at the start of next year.

I've got a lovely man who is kind and just so different from anyone else from the past.

I feel like I've kind of grown up a bit as well and found things to do that I actually enjoy doing and not just going through the motions.

1988 , had good hobbies, friends , good times at school. The music in the charts was bad around that time, but there were some good films.

I agree. There were a lot of good movies in 1988.

I also think that 1997 was a pretty groovy year. Austin Powers, Baby!

Not sure, perhaps 2008? :?

I no longer had hipster-wannabes for classmates, I began my college years and
truly began to understand what it meant to be an adult.

2008 was also a good year for me. I was the second year into my Punk Rock phase and I started doing garbage removal for a landscaping company.

That was a good year for me as well. That was the year that my sister was born. I used to run into her bedroom every time my mum put her down for a nap and I'd lay down beside her crib. My dad had to put a lock outside my sister's door so I wouldn't do that.
