First one at the cafe I used to go to in 2.5 years. I didn't feel confident enough yet to use the stroller , as it's a 10 minute walk with some of it being uphill. It's been a good day.

I'm surprised that you didn't get more responses.

Perhaps I should have framed it as a question. That was what I was told several years ago when not getting many replies. It's actually a load of mindless BS. Framing things as a question doesn't make much difference. I'm just low down the list of people regarded as worth replying to.

As for your original reply. I enjoyed myself. My eyes were bigger than my stomach when it came to the breakfast, but it was a tasty breakfast.

Things are slowly but surely improving on the mobility front. It was thought at one point I'd be confined permanently to a wheelchair. I'm lucky to have great support . A more positive mindset than is usual for me has helped too. I'll probably always have to use the stroller to get about outside, but many people have to do that.

The photo is lovely, firemonkey.

I saw it yesterday but I have Covid and didn't have the energy to type a response.
I'm so happy for you achieving these milestones again.

It's not you, it's that some people here tend to navigate towards the more pointless threads more than worthy threads like this.

I love your pictures by the way. :)

Foreign setting. In a really simple, quiet and good way. Sometimes settings like these fascinates me.

There's something about this picture that settles really well with me, and I cannot describe it except it's positive. :o
It just means I like it. And I can sincerely say I'm glad for you and your family for enjoying the moment.

So...

I like it. :D

^ I couldn't ask for better family. The food was good, but my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. It was good to sit outside. It's been a long time since I've been able to do that . I'm very much an 'indoors' person, but there's a big difference between choosing whether you go out or not vs circumstances taking that decision away from you.

Good to be out dining with family again after everyone's couple years of isolation. 8)

Didn't you used to post about travelling by bicycle a lot over your lifetime? Stroller's just a different set of wheels to get around. Better than being stuck in one place unable to go out to eat!
