I needed to get in touch with the hosting provider of some anxiety discussions website. It got abandoned quite some time ago, yet every part of the forum is publicly viewable.

Anyway, a troll from Australia has been bugging me for years. So he made all of these profiles on this forum to attack me there, since no moderator logs in. He replies to his own posts and floods every category, like a moron. He thinks he is clever and denies he is even from Australia, but he always posts ironically erroneous things.

I did email Cloudflare, which masks the host. He was also nipping my head on YouTube and different wikis. I called the cops in Australia when it got to be too much. If you say you live in the UK though, they claim they're not obligated to arrest him.

Internet harassment is a serious problem that is not yet adequately addressed by today's laws.

Since the Internet is international, we probably need an international treaty to address it adequately.

Just a suggestion, but if your real name is Peter Hoping, it may be advisable not to use your real name on forums as it makes it easy for your stalker to follow you around. I never use my real name on forums and use a different handle on every site. There are some really dodgy folks out there. I used to be a mod on this site under a different name and I remember one of the other mods saying she got stalked in real life by some obnoxious guy she'd banned from this site and she ended up having to take a restraining order out against him.

If this person is harassing you, you can get Youtube to provide his/her/their IP address to local law enforcement. You will need a lawyer and you'l need to be able to document his behavior. He can then be blocked by his ISP even if his behavior doesn't meet the legal criteria for an arrest.

The guy is creepy and delusional.

He was spouting some nonsense about how I use leeway in a site's moderation to harass people, which I don't even do. I just speak up about the ramifications of not having a brain that functions like normal people, which leads to people I know online and even personally, making me out to be a huge laughing stock. But the ironic thing is, that he is actually the one using the fact the forums have no staff logging in to post with different accounts, including occasionally using my user names, as the one I typically use wasn't registered there beforehand.

It's not this alias. It's a character in a game, and just yesterday, he found my friend's YouTube channel. He always subscribes to my channels as well, with hidden profiles.

This 36-year-old troll has been known to me for over 18 years. He used to go on forums I was on too, around 2004. Since 2017, he has been doing this every week. But he posted a picture of himself using a gun on a firing range, and I got an IP address from Wikipedia, although an admin deleted the log for his edit. Because of that one New Zealand IP address, I found his Twitter account after looking up a guy I remembered from Australia, and he had a picture of himself and the same dog that he posted a picture of on another forum.

After that, he constantly denied being this James person. But it is him. Everybody else had moved on from the drama that occurred decades ago.

He also contacts film producers about me, just because I occasionally do extra work in films, which is a passionate hobby of mine, since you don't usually receive payment. He has, due to this side career, previously messaged a minister who directed a movie I had a small part in, as he makes media about his faith.
