i love robert sapolsky so much. anyone else a fan of him? any recs for similar researchers/lecturers?

absolutely, he's a genius :)

as for as recommendations go, i love sean carroll, who's a physicist, and his talks and books on physics/the universe/entropy etc are mind-blowing.
