Interesting that for generations people have said to/as kids that they must be digging to China if they're digging a deep hole.. meanwhile, in reality, apparently the other side of the Earth is off the South East coast of Africa in the middle of the ocean.

I'm about an equal distance between the Kerguelen Islands and Australia.

The opposites of Guangzhou City and Beijing are both in Argentina.

I live in Rockville Maryland, near Washington DC.

My opposite point would be...with the fishes ...in the middle of the Indian Ocean about thousand miles west of Perth Australia.

I might be near the wreck of missing Flight 370!

The Earth's surface is two thirds ocean, and only one third land. So most folks are antipodal to some point in the ocean.

Learned sumpin else.

At first I just typed in my zip code- for my location instead of spelling out my town and nation etc. Turns out that there is a town in central China (Zuping, in Henan Province) with the same zip code as my town!
