Amount of friends to me have never really been so important. What matters to me more is not the amount but quality. i prefer having only about 3 or 5 friends total who are amazing friendly people i enjoy talking to, than having 30 friends total who are all idiots who only care about themselves and perhaps are only nice to me when they need my help.

what do you think about this?

thank you

I've never been very interested in real-life friendships.
I certainly wouldn't need more than one friend at a time.

I haven't had any "friends" since I left work, except for an exbf.
I consider my kids to be my best friends.

I also have a few really close online friends.
They matter more to me than "real people".

2-3 people I see regularly in person who are my friends would be nice.

I don't mind the idea of having more friends that I communicate with primarily through the internet.

Usually as people get older quality becomes more important than quantity, while teenagers and young adults care more about quantity.

I would like to have a large circle of friends but it never happened. I mostly had 2-3 friends at school and those friends grew distant after i graduated from high school.
