She comes and goes from this site, and it's not unusual for her to take a break of several weeks or even months. I'm fairly sure that she's probably okay!

Juliette, Julie, and I have had a lot of fun for several years sending letters and packages back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean. At this time she is very, very, very, sick with long covid and an additional viral infection on top of that.
On June 6 she sent me an email saying she'd try to write me for my birthday (next week at this point) but was too sick to write more than that and it looked like it would be a very long time before she could write again.
Julie asked me to forgive her & she gave me her permission to find someone healthier to love.

So, Juliette is in a bad way.

Much appreciated. We are both believers in Jesus Christ so a lot of people have been rounded up to take prayer action.
Whatever the outcome is in this life, well, it is.

My own health is a mess with ME/CFS, which the long covid she's got can look a lot like, and we were fixing to get the books to do a Bible study on finding new purpose in life when chronic illness takes away what you thought was your purpose, done by a ministry named Chronic Joy, but this additional virus hit her before we could get that done.

Julie is quite a gal, she adds much to life.

She's got 3 adult children who are doubtless concerned but I've not got direct contact channels for them.

She's the kind of girl who has a model railway layout in her sewing and quilting room. And is making a RAF museum on the railway layout. It has been mentioned in suitable threads here.
She's the kind of girl who sent me a G scale model train for Christmas and my 2 cats their own gifts in a cat astronaut bag.

Thanks Issy! And she needs them, she is deeply discouraged, or at least was, the last time she was up to writing on the 6th.

It took a few months for this thing to fully develop.
Was a slow ride downhill.

Covid is an evil, vile, thing, and Long Covid is even more evil and more vile.

Thanks Jakki!

Yeah, somewhere Juliette got the idea that I'm the kind of guy she'd want to send model trains and model kits of Mister Spock to.
You should see the dinner plate sized Valentine card she had sent to me this year from a company that's both in her England and my United States.

If God says it is her time to go to eternity, then it is her time to go.
Personally, I'd like to have her recover and hang around Earth a while longer.
But that's just me.
And probably a bit selfish.

Kitty, while I am now concerned that I might have said more in public than Juliette would have preferred, I am greatly thankful that you asked about her, and made a space to round up support for her, much appreciated, Thank You.

I don't know if it counts as prayer, but it would be a grand thing for the outcome of the thing to give reason to borrow a few lines from a Lutheran liturgy I used to know,
And I'd even sing it in public,
Quote:
Bless The Lord and praise His name
Tell everyone what He has done
For He recalls His promises and leads His people forth in joy
With shouts of thanksgiving
Alleluia, A-amen
