I saw a black guy wearing a shirt today at the store that said on the back of it "white men can't jump.". Is that shirt racist? I think it is.

If I as a white male were to wear a shirt that said on it "black men can't (something)" it would certainly be seen as racist.

It was possibly a promo shirt from the movie, or just a reference to the movie. Google results show many similar shirts on image search. Some look like they could be officially licensed merchandise, others knock-off fan creations the capitalize on the phrase from the movie title.

yes the whole movie would probably got taken down off netflix but when its about white people everyone seems blind to it

Well I don't think it would have the same appeal.

It's like the equivalent would be something like; Black Men Can't Swim.

That is defo a racist thing to say and it just wouldn't go down too well because it is an offensive thing to say and untrue. You certainly couldn't get away with making that into a comedy movie.

Also I can't see that many white people are offended by the title; White Men Can't Jump

If you watch the trailer you might notice that the white guy apparently shags a black woman. Hopefully this will assuage any bad feelings incurred at the mall, or here for that matter.
