Usernames with scatological references - your thoughts?

If you saw a username anywhere online with a scatological reference, how would you treat them?

How would you treat them if you saw such a username here on WrongPlanet?

I've seen at least one recently, and I'd like an idea of how to act. Should I treat them like some child with the wrong fascinations, just tell them to get a new username and why, or how should I deal with such people?

Such names keep reminding me of Borat. Oh, so disgusting.

Example? I don't think I've seen any. Sounds disgusting, though unless it's really funny. I haven't seen Borat and I don't think I will.

There's a gal here on WP in her early 30s. Has a high voice (saw her channel on YouTube) and her name alludes to Pippi LongStocking.

Poopylungstuffing is a really well liked person on this forum because she is respectful to others. I think it's best to treat her like she is a nice person.

Yeah, I like her too. Why don't you just accept her and her chosen username? You simply cannot change an other. You can only change your own perception on the matter and that would be the wise thing to do. Respect.

Oh and no heart feeling here, btw.

No, I don't pay much, if any, attention to usernames unless I see one that appeals to me enough to stick in my head, like "TruthfulTrout", for example.

I suppose this might be a good field in which to work. I would love to be a s**t disturber, and study the details of what is in a certain sample, as in a lab. Alas, this has never happened.

As for PLS, her user name has nothing to do with excrement. It is a whimsical name associated with her creativity, art, music, etc.

A nice kid.

We are not allowed here to use strange names as you suggest in your OP. Alex does not permit this.

Borat is a very funny movie. I liked the scene where Borat and Azamat were fighting naked at the real estate convention.

Well, OK then maybe I should see Borat. Nothing wrong with any of the user names. Don't change! Memorable names and avatars (especially the ones that don't change) are an important part of recognizing the same people.
