He was autographing bottles of whiskey at a liquor store as a brand launch promo. I guess he owns a big chunk of this new Red Bank whiskey.

Nice guy, had a quick chat about motorcycles. He has a couple modified Harleys. (A newer 889 modified by an Italian bike builder to look like a 1950’s cafe racer, and an old ~1947 Harley.) Was funny when I told him I have Collector plates and that in 2 years a 2001 qualifies for Collector plates and he reacted with “f**k.. I remember 2001 like it was yesterday. Are we really getting that old?” Also noteworthy: He has a surprising number of tattoos all over his arms - good taste. 8)

Anyways, pics for proof:

Bought the limit of 2 autographed bottles and a 3rd to open and try. Bought a 60 of cheap, but Good, whiskey just to drink - just poured a couple ounces of that one.

Cool, ha ha the only celebrity I met was the singer of the band The Killers, Brandon Flowers at redrocks, me and my sister and mom hid in a bush as the security was going through then popped out, and ended up talking to him for a minute...It was cool and my mom gave him a rolling stones tie she had. So yeah we met that singer and then went seperate ways so that is kind of fun to remember.

Dunno yet - haven’t opened the unsigned bottle yet and they weren’t doing tastings.

FYI it’s $49.99, so a slightly premium price vs the several offerings around $43.

Hopefully it’s good enough to justify the price point.

I don't know very much at all about Kiefer Sutherland, but can highly recommend two films in which his father Donald starred, these being Don't Look Now (1973) and Eye Of The Needle (1981).

I definitely have not seen those. I haven't seen a lot of Keifer's work, either, But, I have seen several that I quite like. I don't watch much tv/movies etc these days so have never seen "24," that a lot of younger people would know him from.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. He's def done some good work. He could have retired after Stand by Me and the original Flatliners and I'd still think just as highly of his acting career, but good for him for carrying on doing other stuff for different people to watch.

Nice guy, too. Was pretty personable. Sometimes some celebrities come across as arrogant and obligated to be there like they can't wait to leave - I didn't get that vibe from him. He seemed like the kind of guy you'd enjoy having a drink with, like the type of celebrity that's just a regular person who luckily happened to be paid well for the work they did.
