This concept was repeated over and over to me as a preteen youngster, that it became rooted in ironey....
As this was also said to me as i recieved physical abuse by my one parent, but not the other . Simultaneously. :?

I think in reality, and especially for millennials & gen-z, big girls do indeed cry.. a lot.

The older generations tended to have a stiff upper lip attitude in some cases, which resulted in less emotional incontinence.

My daughter cries a lot especially if she's having panic attacks or meltdowns.
It's more of an energetic cry.
She's in her late 20's.

I do quiet crying a lot, very easily, even at happy things or good music.

I didn't cry for years when I was on SSRI.
Now it can be almost daily.

I've known SOME women who could switch their tears on and off at will.

A few were actresses; most were manipulators.

I've heard that it's okay to cry, but that seems to be only when you're a very small child and in physical pain. Not when you're in third grade and just looking at math during class makes your entire brain shut down. Or when you're an adult having a meltdown.

Well, sometimes even big boys can cry.

And what if your Kevin McCarthy?

Leader of your political PARTY...and then that same PARTY turns on you, stabs you in the back, and ...strips you of leadership?

So far he has kept a stiff upper lip, but honestly...

If anyone of us were in his shoes...we would each probably be beaking out into this song!
