Here is one for the narcissist who love to stroke themselves and tell us how big their IQ is.

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/co ... rich_N.htm

Quote:
Study: It doesn't pay to be smart

Quote:
Income does weakly correspond to intelligence test scores, he finds, where "a one point increase in IQ test scores is related to an income increase of $346 per year. But at most, that same one-point increase in IQ leads to "a net worth increase of at most $83, but probably zero."

wow hardly evolutionary adaptive.

You realize IQ tests determine intelligence from society's standards, kind like psychiatry and their view of 'normal'.

I don't think IQ tests are the final determinant on whether someone is intelligent or not. They are great for testing logic and vocabulary skills... For instance, how well would a mathematical savant survive in a cabin in the woods where he has to find his own food etc...

Personally I don't think anyone is truly stupid, just misled.

Yes I know. I took an IQ test 3 years ago while high on marijuana and scored 152. I don't even want to know what it's at now.

Either way, I live it. I know.

But THERE are many reasons to be happy, even though there are even more reasons to be sad.

You have to be shrewd and smart with money in order to keep on top of your finances and ensure that the cash keeps flowing.

It looks like doctors and clerical staff have the narrowest ranges of IQs.

To become a doctor, you have to be REALLY good at taking multiple-choice tests.

One of my chemistry professors mentioned he decided not to goto medical school and become a doctor because it basically would be just memorizations of facts but in chemistry he would still have to
think.
