I don't think I have a favourite sound, but the ones that affect my echolalia the most are boings (spring door stops , plastic ruler being boinged on a table) and liquid drips (even fake drip noises made by humans).

A fart or burp

I like parps, honks and gurgles.

1. a pedestal fan spinning while rotating
2. the sound of mechanical keyboard typing, cherry mx blue switches specifically
3. the sound of money being counted

i dont know why i like these sounds, they are just really relaxing

Sound of a stream going over rocks or dips, or the sea, seagulls calling, or a nice breeze...

Maybe the coolest sound I've ever heard would be from a party trick a model "played," on me while I was rollin' hard. (high as a kite on MDMA & LSD, both of which distort audio, but it's the MDMA that's necessary for this "party trick.") He came up to me in an entirely non threatening way and put his hands up beside my face, moved them slowly until he had a his index finger tips on the little lower "hard flap," at the bottom of my ears.. and then when the bass dropped (EDM music) he started "playing," that little flap of my ear vibrating it in and out, fully closing it, opening it etc.. and O M G, my eyes widened and I just thought "THIS! This Sound is Why we evolved to be able to hear.. WOW!"

It's really indescribable.. pure magic - it sounds like the sound is originating deep inside your ears and echoing outwards. It's truly the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

A couple years later (several years ago) I was at the last Pemberton Festival and at the Bass Camp stage I spotted this kid (19-21yo) who was very obviously rollllllin' on MDMA, which is required chemistry for this party trick to work, so I did the exact same thing to him as was done to me at a party (including timing it for the moment the bass dropped) and at first he was a bit like "..wut u doin ?" and then just went with the flow as he realized I wasn't gonna harm him.. and then his eyes widened, he smiled wiiiiid af, and he threw his arms around me and gave me the biggest Hug I've ever had at a concert/music festival as an expression of gratitude for the Pure Joy of being able to experience hearing that sound.

I don't know why but I love the sound of the bin men emptying the bins on a Thursday morning. They come round just as I'm waking up and I just like it.
