The bad thing about getting a shot is not while you are being injected, it is the soreness in your arm that you get hours after being injected with the shot. I just got my COVID shot at Walmart pharmacy and now my arm is sore.

If that's the worst of it, consider yourself well-off.

Well, yes, I would rather have a sore arm for a little while than get COVID.

Vaccinations can cause all kinds of side effects, including neurological side effects, as can viruses that people contract themselves "in the wild" and from other people.

If you have a serious side effect from a vaccine, the last thing you should do is let anyone gaslight you about it.

When I got my very first covid shot (astral zenika) the nurse took ages over it. I don't know what she was doing. Anyway five minutes after that I got a pain in my foot (same side of my body as the shot) and ever since then I've had a limp.

I can only call it coincidence because I can't make a direct connection other than it all happened at more or less the same time.

This is about 3 years ago and I still have an unexplained limp on the side I got my injection.

I've had my shots on the other arm ever since then and suffered no side effects.

My Mum got (temporary) Bell's Palsy from a Covid-19 vaccination. For some people it can be permanent. It is a listed side effect of Covid vaccines of all brands.

Does that only affect the face though. I do have a bit of a crooked smile and my right eye is slightly more closed than the left but I can't remember if I've always looked like that. It's barely noticeable to be fair.

You wouldn't even know that I was limping if you saw me because I've learned a way to disguise it but I literally have to concentrate on every step to get it right.

A sore arm is much better and more tolerable than the sheer torture I went through from spending the entire night in bed feeling like I was dying of malaria from my last two covid shots. Body aches, fever, sweats, chills. I couldn't move an inch under the blanket because I would shiver like millions of tiny icicles were sticking into my body. It was horrible and sent my anxiety right through the roof. If only I didn't have to go through all of that again. But if I get the latest shot I most likely will. I hate this world.

If I had a limp caused by a vaccination I would be outraged!

You don't have to have the shot. It is optional - good to remember.

I had a bad reaction after my 1st booster but not the initial Covid shot. My reaction was not as bad as yours but it was bad enough that I was talking about offing myself with a shotgun. I don't remember that but my girlfriend did. We got both shots at the same time & she was feeling bad after her booster but probably a lot better than me. I never got another Covid shot as a result & due to the shots not being required in order to have lesser restrictions regarding masks or being able to go out in general; the vacination requirements were basically an honor system since no one has ever asked to see my card for proof. As far as I know I never got Covid despite not getting any more Covid shots. My gf got a 3rd booster & reacted mostly OK to it & never got Covid either.
