What the hell is in this stuff that makes it so addicting?? Its creepy though, cause it seems to make me feel better when I crave a cigarette, for a little while anyway. I decided to stop today cause I dont think Ill have a reason to need to shorten my life anymore :D

I am not quite sure, although Ginseng may be the culprate.
This threads topic caught my attention as I used to drink Arizona
Iced Tea all the time

Cheers

Its rediculously priced as well, which is the downside.

I only drank it one time in 1994 when my college room mate said, "I would love it". I took a few drinks and said, "if it so great you can have the rest". In general pre-made ice tea is an abomination it needs to be made fresh and consume in a relatively short time interval.

You likely live farther North than me where people do not consume fresh brewed ice tea as much as they do in the South. Some years ago there was a problem with some commercial brew machines in restaurants getting contaminated with something. So many switch to some pre-made crap and it is an abomination. Even in my small Southern town only a small percent of the restaurant make drinkable fresh brew ice tea. Chinese restaurants seem to know how to make it well and a few home-style country restaurants here.
I make great fresh brewed ice tea to. :)

Could it be the caffeine?

I find that the green tea with ginseng and honey can knock down a headache.

I dunno. But a few months ago I had mono and grabbed some on a whim because I was having so much difficulty getting any liquids through my swollen throat. The chilled tea went down much better than water. I drank gallons of the stuff.

My kids think it smells like mold.

I could drink the Arizona southern style sweet tea by the gallon. Walgreens sometimes has the 24oz cans of Arizona drinks for 2/$1. They make great drinks. Try the watermelon juice!
