I remember in mad science (an extracurricular activity in my elementary school daycare) we made slime once, we made silly putty another time, and we also made these wierd barnacle things inside pill bottles. It was so much fun! I was so upset when my barnacle thing was stolen!

My son made this over the summer, he is in an autism program here and they did it with all the kids. Although I am not sure what they used for the coloring because it did turn our hands blue. He would bury little toy dinosaurs in it and pretent they were "hatching" :)
