I decided to get back into the game, and I haven't realized how much of a social event it could be O: There's 7 or 8 other people at the place I meet up, and it seems we always have such a good time. I've started making some new characters, and even drawing some art for it. :3 I wonder, does anyone else like the game?

Been playing so long don't remember not playing it.

I used to be in a weekly game group about 15 - 20 years ago.

X3 I am playing in a pirate campaign, and thanks to bardic knowledge I kinda knew the tales and feats of the pirate crew before even joining in c:

Love it, but never got to play a character past like level 3. My favorite part is the roleplaying. I once stole about 1,000 gold in gems and money from my party (I got to the bounty first) and then ditched them when knights came to arrest them for crimes they didn't commit. Evil characters are fun.

I have never played DnD. It sounds interesting though.

I haven't played for something like 10 years, but I did enjoy it, and it's how I met most of my best friends. My online nick, Amarantha, is one I originally invented for my favourite AD&D character.

I've played it some... I am not the biggest fan of the d20 system kind of games... but it's okay.

Roleplaying has started to fizzle among my friends... since it's hard to get together consistently.

The one we always go back to is the West End Games star wars rpg... we each have old characters that are fun to play once and a while.

Among my friends, and I agree, the D6 system is the perfect rule base for RPGs.

Used to sort of play it with the kids who sat at my lunchtable in middle school, they never let me be dungeon master though :/

I'm trying to get into it for the first time, but I can't find any other players in the area.

I love playing D&D! It is so fun being with other people and pretending as a group. I don't really like things too complicated, though, so I tend to shy away from playing magic users. Cleric or paladin is the magic limit for me. I'm not very good at pretending, either, so I tend to always play a nice girl character, even if I'm a rogue. I hope I get better with practice, but I moved and haven't found a group to play with here. My plan is to go to gaming conventions in Seattle and find some RPGers. Next weekend, however, I'm being sucked back to my old group in California at ConquestSF. Hooray for games!!
