When you wear a mask, do you have to yell for people to understand you?

I do.

Which is why I don't wear a mask, amongst other reasons.

You mean like a covid mask or a social mask? I'll assume it's the former. I haven't worn one in months, not since I was sick with a bad chest cold (not covid) at the end of January. And even when I did wear one I don't think I ever had to yell. I have a pretty strong voice. But sometimes I couldn't understand other people when they were wearing masks.
