As a member in Australia it occurs to me that when I'm online everyone north of the equator is in bed :lol:

I have severe insomnia and my sleep schedule is constantly shifting, so I am sometimes here in the middle of the night.

Except for us in the Philippines.

Perhaps you mean "East of the International Date Line" or "In the Americas" instead?

North-south doesnt matter. The time zones change east-to-west.

Its the fact that you're so far east thats the issue. The Equator has nuthin to do with it.

you're about ten time zones east of the UK, and about sixteen time zones later than the eastern USA. Thats why you're out of whack in your sleep cycle with those parts of the Anglosphere.

In contrast...way up north of you in Japan its the same time of day as in your home, or close.

I have a very inconsistent schedule partly due to my girlfriend having an inconsistent schedule. My posting sometimes looks like I never sleep because I may sleep for only a few hours before being up again & I post a lot from my phone due to convenience while watching TV, riding on a bus, or waiting for an appointment.
