I really like words and numbers.

Some words sound like some sort of innuendo, so I always get a mild chuckle out of them when mentioned or if I happen to be thinking of the word...

There's safety in numbers because they're predictable, words, not so much.

Words are my anchor. Words take me to other worlds, and into other lives. I love to listen to words in languages I don't understand. Words are beautiful to me.

I prefer numbers over words. Numbers can't hurt you the way that some words can.

Words don't hurt people. People hurt people.

I know what you mean, I feel much the same way. For example, any time that I see the word infinity in the text I'm reading, I say it aloud (in low voice) a couple of times. I like the way it is pronounced.

One of my pleasures too. Sometimes the word loses its meaning, and the oddity of its sound alone is a quite new and alien experience. Fascinating.

Also, certain words simply look fascinating. The way they are composed of letters can be like magic. One of my all time favorites is the French city name Bordeaux. I cannot explain why this particular word or name is so special, it resembles no Finnish word (which is my own language), neither does it have any obvious meaning if you don't know any French.

You should try Finnish, I've just started, and the sounds are completely alien. I am totally in love with it at the moment. :D
