Something that has annoyed me for a long time is that I have memories of a show but I have never been able to track it down!

It's either French Canadian or French. The original title was in French I believe, but I watched the English dub. It was a show about a fox. Quite a square looking fox, very stylised looking cartoon.

The fox wore a flower clown and was a vegetarian. I'm not sure if the fox was the only girl in a big family of brothers, or if the fox was the youngest boy. The fox had a higher voice than the others but I think it was left ambiguous. Also, the fox was a different colour to their brothers. Now, I can't remember if the fox was blue and everyone else was red or if the fox was red and everyone else was blue.

I do remember that they were visually different from the others to show them as an outsider. The other foxes tended to play rough and were aggressive. Often commenting about how the lonely fox was a disgrace of a fox and they would never include the fox in their games. However, it usually worked out for the hippie fox. The show very much had a make peace not war message. It was set in a valley of hills I believe.

Anyone have any idea what I'm going on about?

It was a 2d animation.

Shown in the 2000's or early 2010's but I'm not sure about the exact year of production. It used to air along with Madeline which is from the 90's apparently but I used to watch it then in the 2000's as repeat episodes.

Correction: Madeline was from 1989 and ended in 2001 but it was still being shown in 2007 - 2009 on TV because I remember watching it at that time.

The programmes I used to watch used to air stuff from the 90's or late 80's in the 2000's. So, I would guess a timeframe of late 80's to early 2000's.
