Does anyone know how to get established with this site without owning a mobile phone? I think I've managed to register my email address with the company, and to create a password, but I just can't log in to the site on my laptop. The problem seems to be that logging in requires an SMS code to be sent to the customer's mobile 'for verification'.
I've tried providing them with my landline number, but that doesn't work, and I've spent quite a while discussing the issue with a customer services agent over the internet.
Signing up with Ebay and Amazon took around one minute, but I've been trying to do so with AliExpress for over a week now. What a bloody palaver, eh? You hear about Chinese companies taking over the world, but this lot just don't seem interested in getting my business or my money.
