Thinking about your recent accomplishments can boost your serotonin. Post the things you've accomplished today. They could be anything, big or small.

I'll start. Today I managed to be talkative and outgoing in the lunch hour walking group and I went the whole day without getting takeout.

Today at work I created a flowchart and then lead a brief meeting to explain the reasoning of the flowchart. I'm gradually getting over my fear of speaking in front of a group.

Today at home I vacuumed under the couch.

I fixed the Playstation 2. It wouldn't read discs. I opened it, opened the disc drive and cleaned the smutz out of the worm gear.

finished a drawing i'm proud of. filled out some paperwork that i've been procrastinating on for weeks.

remembered an appointment at the last minute, went there. set up another one for next month.

learning to drive more efficiently...it has been nearly 100 miles since last refilling, and the fuel meter is higher than ever. (probably all the highway driving, but still...)

in the wee hours of this new day, I achieved an even greater appreciation for an even wider variety of music including works by finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara, his symphony #7 "angel of light" has to be heard to be believed, as is his novel composition "cantus arcticus" which uses sampled birdsong played through loudspeakers as part of public performance. :dj:
