Are you a confessional kind of person?

Yes. I can get myself in a lot of trouble that way.

No. I do not feel the need to divulge. When/if I do, like out of necessity, I tend to understate. I am not gushy. I reveal more on this site than probably anywhere. But I am a good listener.

I have noticed that sometimes when I have told someone something they (NTs) can use it as arsenal against me later. I hate that. Plus, this negates the entire purpose revealing something. Or they're judgmental. I am very closely guarded.

I hope you like the above link, very appropriate to this topic, if you have a sense of humor - I love it. Just too funny! I have it bookmarked and sometimes indulge. FUN

In many ways, I stay inside of my shell and I like it that way - I'm doing that but not without making myself noticed first lol. But with confessions, yeah sure I can confess.

I won't even confess things to myself most of the time.

Boy, do I ever envy you. I wish I had the self discipline to just shut up! I'm WAY too confessional. You're exactly right about the NTs -- anything you say can and will be used against you at some point in the future. I just never think before I speak

I have a great deal of difficulty confessing things.

I've told people I didn't know real well embarrassing stories just because they were listening to me. Luckily gossip gets so easily distorted. What I did became attached to someone else. I feel bad, but at least I wasn't kicked out for it.

And no, I'm not going to tell anyone here what it was. That would be a hundred times worse.

The "I confess..." thread is probably my favorite thread here; I've been considering seizing control of it and declaring myself its über-moderator.

((*Wonders if Icarus is really an ordained minister or if he is pulling our legs...*))

I am too open mouthed to be honest and it has gotten me into trouble in the past.
I am hopeless at keeping things secret unless explicitly asked to do so and even then, if I feel it is something someone should know...
I also have a habit of being terribly open with those I do speak to, even if they are virtual strangers.

Well... I suppose it depends on how much stock you put into the Church of the SubGenius. In fact I've worked elements of the CotS into my own personal religion (along with broader tenets of Discordianism). I am a true believer!

My official rank and title is Archpope of the Unknowable.

Sometimes I think it would be healthier if I were more so, but alas, I have grown to cynical in my old age to reveal too much.

normally no, I do not naturally trust other people. But places like here where you can do it somewhat anonymously I am more inclined to do so.
