I like how you think
I put the bumpers on when customising cars in Grand Theft Auto V so I voted for Bumper

For a while at my army base there was an F350 with a bullbar suite.
It had a checkplate walkway that would fit 6 people.
I can only imagine it was used to lassoo camels!

The pickup I learned to drive in had the greatest rear bumper ever.

It was a 1950's International pickup.

What was cool about the bumper was that it was made out of a grader blade and was the full width of the pickup. The grader blade was turned to be parallel to the roadway. The reason was so that it could have two or three sizes of balls for hooking up trailers as well as a hole to attach a trailer to with a bolt.

In other words, something like the bottom part of this parallel to the road to mount the ball hitches on:

and ball hitches like these, but a few inches apart going side to side:

We always wondered how much damage it would do if someone ran into it from behind in a passenger car. I always figured it would at least cut well into the engine compartment, possibly ripping into the engine.
