My thyroid shut down about ten years ago. One common result from losing your thyroid is to feel cold.

One problem for me is cold bathrooms. I really hate to go into the bathroom at the office because it is so cold.

So I had an idea.

Keep one bathroom as it is now, but warm up the other to something more comfortable. Label them "HOT" and "COLD".

One problem, though, is that some would still want Men's and Women's bathrooms.

The solution is obvious. Four bathrooms. Two heated and two not heated. Put signs on the door for the two heated bathrooms that say "HOT MEN" and "HOT WOMEN". For the other two, since nothing has changed, just leave them "MEN" and "WOMEN".

Because of my greatly exaggerated sense of self-worth and lack of self-awareness, HOT MEN it is.

Just WOMEN for me.

What about people who aren't hot nor cold?

Also it took me a while to understand this, I thought the OP meant "hot" as in "sexually attractive" men or women, so my first thought was to answer "neither" due to my asexuality. And then I thought it was a play on both the literal and sexual meaning, so I thought, "Just use a flame symbol for 'hot' and a snowflake symbol for 'cold' on the bathroom doors", like they have on faucets.

But what if someone is not too hot nor too cold?

My vote is just Men. I don't usually stay long enough in a public bathroom to really notice the temp in there & when I was employed doing custodial stuff I was too focused on cleaning to really notice the temp. Plus my body temp fluctuates a lot & I can feel cold when I'm not doing much but hot once I start being active. I may feel cold if I was sitting down a bit before going in there like if I was eating at the place first but I'll feel hot if I did a little walking before going in the bathroom like walking around a store or walking to get there. Plus the temp of the building can also be a factor as well as how I'm dressed. If I feel hot or cold in the building, I'll still feel hot or cold the brief time I'm in the bathroom regardless of the bathroom's temp. While this thread is an interesting idea, it's very impractical due to the extra express & hassle for the businesses.
