I think I'm brave, despite AS I move to another country to work and present work at international conferences and travel to different cities to look at things.
In contrast to the others in my family that have AS and can't cope with airports or trains so don't go anywhere this is very adventurous.
I like to try things at least once, I tried skiing and scuba diving.

Somewhat. I like new places and new discoveries.

More or less. I like to travel, I've been to a lot of European countries and to the USA. Also I'm taking motorcycle lessons, which some would call adventurous.

I have to admit that I don't feel very adverturous. Never did. I know I should feel a little more adverturous but I don't.

Not very. I get scared to easily so I try not to take many risks.
I would like to travel and see new things, though.

I am definitely not adventurous. I prefer to stick with what I know.

Not particularly... but that's only because other restraints keep me at bay.

If I could just go someplace with ample resources , just to explore with no anxiety about what I'm supposed to do in a new place... I'd love it.

As it is, going someplace completely new brings so many new rules and expectations that I can't keep up... and I get stressed.

It's sometimes fun just going someplace with no idea how you are going to get back... and if you have no other plans or responsibilities... who really cares if you get back...

In everything except food, yes. My stomach knows what I like and I'm sticking to it, this can sometimes be a problem when engaging in foreign travel.

I do to a degree, I mean, I can take calculated risks. Have tried skiing and now rock climbing :D

Yes; this is probably at the root of my urban exploration and infiltration hobbies, and my general predilection for exploring.

Random Icarus adventure: I was at Snoqualmie falls once, at the base on the rocks where people are not supposed to go but everyone does anyway. High up on the cliff, there is a cave that is blocked by a rebar grid. I just had to climb up there and see what was inside. Here's a pic of me having scaled the wet, climy cliff face up to the entrance:

Once up there, I really, really wated to get into the cave. The bars blocked my passage, but there was a space under the bars that water was flowing out of. So... I stripped off the top-half of my clothes, and pulled myself under the bars, through the water. Here's a pic of me inside the bars having re-dressed (sorry, the file's gone slightly corrupt. :? ):
Image
(That's a pocket flashlight in my mouth, if you're wondering.) What I found in the cave is a tale for another time...

One of the very first things on my MySpace page is this quote:

"Without the possibility of death, adventure is not possible." - Reinhold Messner

Good fortune,

- Icarus Loves to Explore
