Are you politically active? Or have you been?

The most politically active I've ever been is when talking about politics on webboards and in AIM chats with my best internet friend, E. N. Feiris... and we would watch the American presidential debates together, and wew would be on AIM together commenting on it.

I volunteered shredding papers at the Conservative Party of Canada.

I voted for Stephen Harper in the last Canadian election for a new prime minister, in January 2006...

I posted some on a webboard called Common Ground Common Sense, which EN Feiris directed me to... we were both members there...

Me too! I'll be VERY politically active in the Aspie commune! And about it! :D

I also painted "No blood for oil" all over my room shortly after the Iraq war broke out... my mom was mad at me first of all for defacing the walls and ceiling, and secondly for being anti-Iraq-war. She has changed her opinions about the war since then!

I've been a member of the young people's section of a political party. I wasn't exactly active though, I was more like a member on paper only. That was long ago. Right now I'm not politically active in any way, except of course for voting. Although I don't vote for the European Parliament because I think it's a bit of a farce, but that's another story.

I've never been that political. I grew up in San Francisco which is very liberal and those are my leanings also. This is going to be the first presidential election that I can vote in so I'm looking forward to do that.

I have been active in Left-Wing politics since I was 18 or 19. I've been on lots of protest marches and I'm quite sure that both the British and American governments have a file on me somewhere. Here in Hungary I'm a volunteer for the Hungarian Workers Party, quite a hard job because round here anything with even a hint of Communism gets shunned by people with long memories.

Let's see...

I've done a LOT politicly, from volunteer work at an inner city community center (to show them that not every white man is the devil) to spending my money on left-wing community radio (www.pacifica.org) and YES reality does have a liberal bias!! !

I even gave money to Dennis Kusinich's campaign!!

But as for thing that the statute of limitations has expired on, that I can mention!

Me and a few friends car pooled up to Seattle Washington, in December 1999. The WTO was meeting there having a gathering to come up with new ways to screw the poor. I thought there might be a few others there. Imagine my surprise when I showed up and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WERE THERE!!

WOW! Three things happened that were fun.

1. While we were gathered in front of the hotel where Bush and the Legion Of Doom were storing the coffins they sleep in, the police thought it would be a great idea to shoot some tear gas into the crowd. They mustn't of checked the wind because after it landed (I held my breath!) the majority of it blew back to the hotel! I was crying and laughing so hard!!

2. on a different day, we were in front of the bldg. where the crooks were debating how best to anally violate the world, and a cop in full riot gear comes up to the police barricade talking smack! I looked down at my feet. A ROCK as big as my fist appeared in my hand as if by *MAGIC*! I waited until Officer Friendly was walking away from us and I pulled my arm back with the strength of Hercules, I hurled that Holiest of rocks towards the cop! It bounced off of his riot helmet! By the time he circled around and demended to know who threw the rock, I was burried deep in the crowd and we were all laughing our asses off!

3. I got my picture taken with Mario when we went on the Nintendo tour. I don't plan on visiting the fine city of Seattle again, so why not??

I was once part of a political party. I got disillusioned and let my membership lapse.

Donated money to Ron Paul's campaign.

That's all.

I was involved in a student protest at my school, our entire class walked out of school and onto the streets to protest the budget cuts of programs like drivers ed. Indeed, at the time I was doing it just to be like everyone else and have the day off, but then when I became more informed of the subject I realized how stupid it was. Budget cuts were obviously the result of a deficit, so the students were protesting because the school did not have enough money?! Pretty dumb, yet I went along with it so I too feel stupid.

I think thats about it, a few minor things I took part in, mainly just voting and voicing my opinion at collage.
