Does anyone have this problem? Every time i am really stressed out, my shoulders automatically tighten and are hard to the touch. It actually causes me to have chest pains at times (not a heart attack) It also affects my neck and arms. my neck sometimes gets so stiff that it pops when i merely turn my head. I also lose feeling in my arms (not just the left) from all the muscle tension. Has anyone else had that problem?

Yeah I've had chest pains and headaches from over-thinking things - it's a right pain in the neck (almost literally).

It's to be expected, since there is a lot of muscle tension typically associated with stress. I have back and neck pain during times of high stress.

This is called hypertension directly related to stress and anxiety. You may want to try something like Jacobson progressive muscular technique/yoga.

I sometimes get mild throbs of pain in the middle of my palms when I'm feeling impatient or something is annoying/angering me. It makes me want to clench my fists. It's strange.

Yea, I guess it is stress. I feel irritable and impatient when I'm under stress.

Do you ever get an itchy feeling inside your wrists too? Sometimes I get this steady feeling of a vague itch inside my left wrist and up my forearm. I guess it's on the right too, but the feeling is more intense on the left. It's not like a skin itch, it's deep inside. It's both uncomfortable and difficult to describe. It's when I have this itchy feeling that I start to feel throbs of pain.
