One guy at the Y told me to write a book rather than wasting my time writing on here, because people have nothing better to do than make stuff up abotu their lives to be interesting anyway.


Someone else at the Y told me that people who say they need help are using me and laughing at me and probably posting from jail or prison.


Have people ever told you stuff like this? It makes me a bit depressed.

I think people are fairly honest here(on WP) within the limitations that they (all to a degree) are often self-deluded to the ninth degree.

Its extremely unlikely anyone on WP has plans to meet you ana54 IRL and harm you. But the nature of the membership here means there is a high probability that relationships formed are going to be highly dysfunctional to say the least. But your odds might not be much better seeking friends by any other methods so its really a matter of do you want to risk conflict to avoid being alone.

Some people are just afraid of the internet.

Put, the internet has many scary things that could potentially happen. This site appears fairly safe though.

It almost appears too safe. It might be easy for a manipulative person with terrible intentions to take advantage of people.

The internets and interweb scare me. I am being stalked on several forums and am paranoid.

Internet = (potentially) better than newspapers/tv, which most anti-net people get their preconceptions from IMO.

Basically, I'd advise you to stay away from the "Y", whatever it may be(??)

There are a lot of mindless websites where people spout the worst sort of drivel. Here, we do make an attempt to help one another, although in-fighting breaks out every so often...

A lot of people on the Internet pretend to be something they're not. But since WrongPlanet is full of aspies, and aspies are notoriously honest... I don't think you need to worry.

Its impossible for everyone on the net to be a murderer/rapist/nonce. Chances are, most liars on the net are 14yr old kids who are about as dangerous as being beaten with a soft pillow stuffed with sleepy puppies wrapped in kittens.

Its not worth losing sleep over it.

I use you and laugh at you, but that is because you are informative, and funny.

Once upon a time there was a posting machine, called Ana54, Some thought there must be several, for it was suddenly everywhere.

It was out of focus. While I have watched it has become more centered. It still posts things like, "How many people have you killed, and where did you hide the bodies?"

The worst is I read it.

I am not in prison, and as for being a murder/rapist, I am lazy and avoid social interaction. macbeth mentions a nonce, I do not know about that. We do not have nonces around here, or they are getting away with it. I am deathly afraid of cold, so Canada is safe, even in the summer.

I think your bubbly babbley self adds something here, Canada Speaks! We never did understand them. There are the two guys who wear deerstalker hats insid and drink beer, some groomed, polished, madeup, imports from BBC, who do the news, and Ana54. Who is ute and aboot.
