So who here has? What was it like? Was it fun? How many times and where did you do it? What did you do? Would you do it again? I haven't met anyone on here in real life; though a lot of the people here live in my city or are coming back to it. And some might come up north for the job opportunity I posted. :D

Kilroy, now you're being asked... see the Candadian job opprotunity thread! Username88 is thinking of coming up here to do that too, and some others might as well. :D

Yes, i have met several members & ex-members via mutual membership of another meetup oriented website.

Most of them dont post here very often, if at all. I think one of them has even been banned.

I met KingCrimson twice. He drove down here and stayed with me for a week, then a few weeks later I went up to where he lives and stayed with him for a week and a half. it was very fun, and he's my first genuine real life friend.

My son's WP username is (racking brains furiously) AlexanderXaibier, but I usually shorten it to "Xan".

This question is for those who are also on Aspies for Freedom:

Has anyone besides me met at least one person from WP *and* at least one person from AFF? And it's not the same person?

BTW, I am timhomer2007 on AFF.

Tim

There's no way I could meet with ANYONE here IRL.

AFF is Aspies for Freedom, another forum.

I haven't met with anyone here, but I've met with three other comics fans (one of which has been diagnosed with AS, and another who definitely fits the bill even without an official diagnosis) from two different websites, and some members of a chat room I used to frequent during my university days.

I've often wondered what it would be like to meet people from here, though.
