Breathtaking!

I just want to hitch a ride on that boat and go on an adventure!

Only 3.2 megapixels? :?

IMHO, anything beyond 3 MP is a waste, barring special applications. The best camera I've ever had was a 3MP camera (a Nikon CoolPix 990.) Those are woudrouns pictures; thanks for sharing... Ugh... I really need to learn how to use my 6MP or whatever new Canon S3IS. I would have never replaced my old Nikon Coolpix... Except that, after, jeeze 10 years or so? It broke and stopped working. I always thought "3MP? That's pleanty. MUCH MORE than is needed for the average 8x10... And what else am I trying to do, really? I miss my old 3MP Coolpix; those were most wonderous pictures Graelwyn; thanks for sharing them.

What is that casle/fort looking structure? I might one day post something about my dreams of building something like that over an old ICBM missle silo in the states 8O ...

Good fortune,

- Icarus really doesn't need 6MP....

The castle/fort is part of the original medieval city walls here, most of which still surround the city. Can walk all around them. I walk down by them every evening when it isn't bad weather. Some date back to 12th century.

As to camera, I had a 8mp Nikon D200 slr as I love photography and wanted to go semi pro etc, but I sold it. Now want to get another 8mp camera but a small one.. I find a difference in quality between 3 and 8, even when simply looking at them on a pc screen. It is generally after about 6mp that there stops being such a vast difference, or so my ex says and he has done photography for almost 20 years.

Forget York...
I think I'll get myself a passport and take a "hop over the pond".
