why do you love your state?

i love mine because i can go from the deserts to the mountains. too the high mountains. there is also good fishing along the colorado and great rock hounding in yuma county.

5) A public transport system that works

6) Politicians who behave like reasonable people

7) A foreign policy which means that I don't feel like the country has a big target painted on it.

Kentucky - the Blue Grass State.

The Appalachian Mountains, Mammoth Cave, the mists clinging to the trees... it's a truly beautiful state. You can feel nature all around you.

Washington... the sea, mountains, temperate rainforest, interesting people. Now to do something about the overcrowding in the cities and explosive urban expansion...

also usually the weather is nice, Kentucky Derby, football and basketball, we make good bourbon too!

HEHE, I haven't lived in Texas since around 1989... I really miss that place.
If I ever moved back, it would be to Austin or around Junction, outside of town on 20+ acres... just me and the armadillos, the coyotes, jackrabbits, snakes, etc.

I currently live in California... Humboldt County... the REAL NORTHERN CALIFORNIA!

so, What I love about this state?

Hmm, the insane politics... I finally learned that the one state I grew up thinking was all about 'the people' and natural stuff, everything wonderful, sunshine and flower-power, is just as bad as the rest!

The country is nice to look at.

Indiana
*It has a lot to offer, recreation wise
*There's some nice scenery
*You get all types of weather
*Great sports, like Colts and racing
*Everyone seems to know their boundries

Wyoming

Low population density
Decent wages for hard work
Wildlife
Good fishing and hunting
High energy activities
People will leave you pretty much alone, if you want

Minnesota

-great locals
-good car scene
-plenty of things to do especially if you live near minneapolis/st.paul
-great autism/as community

a duck
it quacks
it swims
it doesnt like rain

I love California, particularly the Central Coast, because it has perfect weather and everything we need. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
