Mine all like me or find me okay but don't really know me... except Uncle Moshe, who's depressed and thus finds me and my mother depressing!

My mother's siblings:

Doug(las): some religious lay-reader; I think he moved on from that though and was studying to become a priest or something. He rocked back and forth as a kid and looked autistic, flat-faced and dead-eyed (not any more). Still single and living at home with his mother in Gaspe.

Dolores: Lives in Montreal with Egyptian-Jewish husband Moshe and her 3 kids Julie, Joseph (Joey) and Natalie. After all these years as a housewife, finally got a job sitting with unconscious, dying people in isolation in various hospitals. Very hospitable. Gives us tons of food and clothes, talks a lot about the kids and material stuff they got, about her and her husband's medical problems and the problems with the landlord, very fun to talk to.

I remember making board games and playing word games and doing arts and crafts and talking with Julie, playing "men" with Joey, and doing collages with Natalie, having art contests with all three of them, going on the computer with Julie and listening to music, going to the pool with Julie and Joey, playing baseball with Julie, watching movies with them, going to the dollar store with them, going to a candy store with them, going to the mall with them, going with Julie and Natalie to Julie and Joey's friends' house, hanging out with them all at the mall, hanging out and talking and joking with Julie, Natalie and Natalie's friend, having a fake party with Julie and Natalie and making party decorations, having a sleepover with Julie once at my place where we had races, my mother got us stuff from a store, we played with it and had contests, talked and watched TV, drew pictures of funny characters and captioned them with the names of them. I also remembered getting along horribly with Joey when we were younger; once he said he could stab me in the heart in my sleep, he said that I would commit suicide if my stuffed bear Charity "died", I jsut annoyed/depressed him for some reason. He once said he liked Julie more than me and me more than Natalie, because I guess she whined and depressed him the most! I had fights (arguemnts) with him sometimes. He had some anger pent up inside him. I remember going to the playground with them and making snacks with them, just for something to do, and playing this game where we had to be totally quiet and if we wanted to talk, to write notes... I remember me and Julie and Natalie taking a bath right after we went in the pool because we weren't sick of the water yet, even after we rinced off in the shower downstairs after using the pool... me and Julie drew things, once she drew a picture of my stuffed bear in his room. The three of them once hid Charity and wouldn't tell me where she was! They were making fun of me! :( Once they had some kids over and we all played together in the backyard. I played outside with them other times too, we made a hangout in the back stairs, we made stuff out of scraps of material from the clothing factory, we got videos from the video store and watched Joey play computer games.

Beverly: lives in Gaspe with husband Yvan (whom I don't know really) and sons Cassy and Ashley.

I remember playing with Cassy and Ashley-- hide and seek, sneaking food, joking, watching TV together, playing with toys, talking, sliding on sled-things down the sloped icy land, laying charades with them and aunt Beverly, pulling pranks.

Walter: lives in Montreal with Jewish wife Donna and daughters Erica, Emily and Kelly.

I remember playing with Erica, Emily and Kelly, with my stuffed bears-- dressing them, etc, playing on this rocking horse outside with them, moving the mattress and making a slide out of it, playing with Barbie dolls I think.

Patricia (Pat, Pati): lives in Gaspe-- first with husband Craig who was nice, gave me 2 golf balls I remember, but died of a brain hemhorrage or something, then she married Richard. She ahd Craig had a son named Garrett who's also in Gaspe working at a golf course. Pat laughs and jokes a lot, had breast cancer recently but is okay now.

Richard: nice French guy, a bit opinionated but okay I guess; I don't know him that well.

Garrett: lives with my grandmother, works in the golf season and takes the rest of the year off, doesn't have a girlfriend yet. I remember being shy around him the last time I saw him, because he was a teenage boy, and I was a teenage girl, and he was my cousin but still! I remember climbing trees and playing on the swings with him before that.

My father's sister Beverly Ann died when she was 2 or 3, but he had 2 other siblings-- Janet and John... and those two names mean the same thing in the same language! "God is gracious."

Janet lives in Montreal with her husband Allen (sp?) who was accused of taking showers with their daughter Sarah.

I rmeember getting into mischief with Sarah, sneaking chocolate mints (we each had several but she said "I only had one and Katie had two!"), she and I jumped on the bed, played school, played doctor, each of us took turns pretending to help the other have a baby, we pretended we each had a kid (my stuffed bears) and we were parents, we played with Barbies and with her pet rats, we did an obstacle course thing once, she did my hair, we did a doll's hair, she tried to get me in trouble by telling me to stay put and telling the adults that I wanted to jump on the bed again, we played this game where one of us would be a bridge between the two beds in her bedroom and the other would climb over the one who was the bridge from one bed to the other without touching the ground, once she tried to get me in trouble when my father told us that when playing in the basement not to touch the computer, and she was telling her mother that I touched the computer and she told me not to... we shreded some of my grandmother's flowers-- each of us was good when we were over there alone, but when we were together we were always up to no good!

Jessica and I talked and ate birdseed together and she and I and Sarah hung out and played. Once Jessica said, "Let's pretend to be French girls", and she talked French, and I didn't know much French so I talked gibberish a lot, lol. She begged me to stay with them rather than go to aunt Dolores's like I was supposed to after visiting with them, saying we were cousins, that we should stay together-- she had a sense of duty even then! Me and Jessica made cards together for our fathers on Father's Day.

John lives in Ontario (in a town called Gananoquay) with his wife Laura, who is back in the military, and has been in Afghanistan before, and Laura's daughter Jessica, another man's daughter.

I don't like a lot of my aunts and uncles, and the only two I really enjoy don't talk much.
