If you were to run for a political office, what would it be?

The highest I would go is Governor of Oregon.

I don't quite know. I'd start out small, not just out of necessity but to see whether or not I am cut out for it. There are many things about holding political office that would be a stretch for me but if I were impassioned over something, I could do it.

I am not sure if a couple things I've done might be considered too large of skeletons to have hanging around in a pollie's closet.

Run for Mayor of Portland or a City Councilor.

I can't think of any profession that is more nt than politician!

You have to know thousands of people by name and face and remember what they like and what they want and make small talk constantly and always be on and ....yeesh! it doens't matter if it's local politics or national, its the same thing. it's really a shame the way even the best ones have to lie constantly.

I've have this fantasy for sometime of being Prime Minister. I plan to write up a manifesto actually, just for fun, write about social reforms and get down some policies, maybe show it off on the internet. If anybody takes it seriously I'll be amazed.

Yes that's true.

and in the spirit of not being so literal-minded....when I was an art student in manhattan in the late seventies, prone to inappropriate conversation about topless bars in a loud voice on the subway

Master of all time, space, dimension, matter, energy, and force.

Then after awhile I'd step down and do something a little less stressful, I think I'd like to be the Dominator of Worlds. It's pretty much a figurehead position now anyway and it does have it's perks.

Something behind the scenes. Like being a spin doctor or political advisor or (even better) ghost writer. Nothing too public like prime minister or anything like that.
