Right now, I am looking back on the weeks of my life, and seeing which one is the crappiest. Sadly, I find that this one tops the list.

Anyone got suggestions on how to make the (so far) crappiest week of my life any better? What do you guys do when everything is just falling apart?

Eat chocolate, have some wine, have a good cry while soaking in the bathtub...and just hope the week ends soon.

Hope things look up soon for you.

Write down everything you want to tell everyone who bothers you, and give it to them, or rehearse it and tell it to them....

And know you have friends who care about you. You can PM me if you want. :)

Lie down on my couch/bed under the covers and sleep.

Is there anyone you know who would call you from time-to-time just to check in?
Maybe having that one interruption would shake things up enough.

Oh, sometimes I take a hot shower... really hot, and sometimes until I run out of hot water in the tank.

The worst week of my life started when I crashed my bike late at night. I split a gap between my middle and ring finger on my right hand, and bruised my leg so badly I was limping for days. The following morning I discovered that my laptop computer had been stolen. To make matters worse, I accused the wrong person of stealing it, and by the time I discovered who the real thief was, he must have sold it on ebay or fenced it off. I could never prove that he did it, and he denies it (with shifty eyes), but at least he knows that I know he did it.

Well, that's the worst week I've ever had, but this chain isn't about me. What's your story? (if you don't mind me asking)

Personally, I don't know any emotional problems that can't be remedied or mitigated by the right music. Some of my favorite songs to pick me up are:
Tubthumping by Chumbawumba
Just For Me by Blues Traveler
Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
The Sign by Ace of Base
I am a Rock by Paul Simon

Ya man, give us a breif about what occured to make your week so bad.

Personally whenever I am having a bad time I look for opertinitues to escape, clear my head so I can think better and take a break, when I face the issues bothering me I feel a little better.

I like to go for hikes in the woods alone, long hikes, maby even a few miles, i enjoy the sound of nature, or the snow falling, or the water running, the trees moving in the breeze. I stop, I think, I know out here I am safe, and when I get out, i must face my problems, thats fine, better the take a break then to accumulate these horrible feelings.

Just understand that indeed, life can suck, but that helps ya appreciate the good in life. Thats how it is unfortunatly. People on here care about ya and things can always get better. Dont let it get ya down bud!

Ook. So the week started off really well. I has just gotten a girlfriend, and things were going very well. We had a lot of fun together.

On tuesday, my uncle died. It sucks because he was one of the few family members I really cared about, and felt close to. Now I can't go to his funeral because I have to work (yes, I tried requesting it off, but because of a complete miscommunication, I have to work). Then last night, while I was feeling really down, my 5-day girlfriend decided to break up with me OVER IM! Kinda feels like a kick in the nuts when I'm already down. She broke up with me saying she was in love with someone else (something I'm pretty sure takes more than five days to develop). That makes me feel like garbage. I could delve further into this, but I see no need. Now I know she just wanted someone to sleep with, and I am not that guy. An absolute riot. Now I am just plain pissed at everything...I actually don't know how to feel.

Basically, that's my week so far. Sorry to rant on and on...I usually don't do that but...yeah.

Forget and just do things that are fun. When I find things are getting to be too stressful, I give myself a day off and just do things I enjoy.

If you have a dog or a cat, pet it. Animals are a comfort in times of need. When I hold my cats close and they purr, it has a soothing effect.

I would head myself down to LOLCats and have a ball laughing. C’mon, how can you not look at this and not at least end up feeling a tiny bit better?

But then again, I'm a huge cat lover and looking at goofy cat pictures cheers me up until I can climb out of my hole.

But really, I think just getting it off of your chest here is doing some good. :)

Oh! I just remembered one of my favorite things to do when I'm down: go to www.wreckedexotics.com

It's an archive for photos of car crashes. There's SO much funny stuff there, especially in the Weird Crashes section. Some of my favorites are

http://67.19.177.10/newphotos/weird/weird754.jpg

http://67.19.177.10/newphotos/weird/weird860.jpg

You have to go see the site for yourself. Watching other people's foolish mistakes is fun! :D
