I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy AWD 2.5 estate and a 2001 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa. The Corsa is for work and the Scoobie for fun and towing.

I drive a 2002 Honda Civic. I love Hondas. I bought a 1992 Civic for $9,000 and drove it for ten years. I bought my 2002 Civic for $10,000 and I plan on driving it for 12.

Even though I don't have a car yet, I can drive. My parents own a beige 2005 Toyota Sienna (sp?) which gets about 32 MPG highway and a red 2001 VW New Beetle - except it's a diesel engine. YAY! It gets 55+ MPG highway. And next summer we're gonna switch it to biodiesel, which will up the mileage at least 20 MPG.

The back of my Renegade:

And that's just the back.

And yes, I have off-road adventures with it. When I first got it, I was hot-dogging around a construction site in the Issaquah highlands. I almost ran it into a ditch, which I couldn't see until I was right on top of it due to the grass. I stopped before spilling into the ditch, but not before getting hung up on the frame.

(Look at that sky...! 8) ) Ten minutes earlier, I was doing donuts in that dry retention pond in the background there. I have tales of many off-roading adventures, including getting stuck in the snow near Snoqualmie pass just as a blizzard hit, and getting two flats while driving around in the hills behind Duvall, and needing to walk seven and a half miles to the nearest phone (me and the two friends who were with me all managed to forget our cell phones that day  ) on a sprained ankle in the pouring rain.

Good fortune,

- Icarus ain't subtle...
