This had me cracking up when I first read it 2 years ago. I'm working on my final english paper (in fact, the final english paper of my life most likely) right now, so of course I thought of this...

I've been procrastinating very hard this past two months. My procrastination involves almost every tasks that require extracting things from my mind and putting those things down on paper (or on keyboard).
This explains why I always start homeworks at the last moment, especially essay-like homeworks,
why I've been postponing my writing emails and letters to friends
why I don't have many posts to my record even though I registered here in July 2004



I guess that kind of procrastination is driven by a sort of timidity.

That could have been done about me .....

Jeez I better stop posting and get back to work.

Ha. I definitely relate to that article; I spend more time procrastinating than I do writing the paper. Actually, come to think of it, I'm procrastinating right now.

this thread reminds me of an old saying:

"procrastination is like masturbation--it feels good until you realize that you are f**king yourself"
