Just kidding, but that is exactly how he is. For example, he wants something to eat, he wanted the sandwhich 5 seconds ago when his brain hatched the idea that he's hungry, and he'd like a peanutbutter sandwhich. Since I don't have telepathy he has to wait. He will even do mission impossible moves to get into the very top cupboard to get something himself if I say he has to wait while I finish something first. I'm amazed he hasn't ever required stitches, or a cast as of yet. He has a one track mind that makes no room for anything, or anyone else when he's on a mission.

Your son sounds like me alright, i'm waiting for therapy to change my behaviour patterns, its not fair on other people, the way that I am sometimes.

I am like this too! If I get an idea - to eat, to write something, to take a trip - I have to do it NOW. My mom says I'm very impatient, to the point of being impractical sometimes. But honestly, if you do something at the moment you want it, you enjoy it so much more...more than later when you don't care about it anymore, that is. Isn't that the point?

Yeah, when I do have to wait or don't end up getting what I want, I either feel fed up about it, or find something else to need!
