Any hour I'm living in is the right hour to my brain.

I hope that made sense.

I do partly because of my work hours - 3pm to 11:30pm (although I stay late all the time).

But I can stay up late at home also.

I get times when I am just not tired but I know I'd rather sleep early and get up early than... late-late.

Last time I was single, I used to go to sleep early pretty much since I was alone, and I'd get up early.
I liked it because I lived in desert country at the foothills of a small range of mountains.
I would get up and hike around in the desert all by myself... I loved it! :D

It sucks to be up at 3AM or later when you have somewhere to go the next morning. Then you're stuck with the dilemma of whether to try and get 4 hours of sleep or just force yourself to stay up the rest of the night. Attempting to get up after less than 5 hours of sleep is very stupid if you’re anything like me. I’ll wake up so sleepy that I physically won’t be able to get myself out of bed. I figure the best option is just to stay up all night and suffer through the next day.

I need longer periods of wake and longer periods of sleep. BOTH. This 24-hour-day thing just isn't cutting it for me.

I should be awake at night every day (if you see what I mean). I like this time the most, and take the opportunity to fully express being a night-owl at the weekends (this past weekend, for example, I was up until almost 4am on Friday night, and about 3.30am on Saturday night).

I used to sleep all day and stay awake all night, but now I work 8 am- 5 pm so I had to switch to a "normal" sleep schedule.

I've been staying up and sleeping late, and however much I try not to, I just tend to keep slipping back later and later. It's becoming difficult for me to wake at a reasonable time to do the things I have to do.
So tonight, I'm going to stay up all night (it's already 5:30 AM) and head right to class in the morning without any sleep. It's the only way I've found to reset my sleep schedule when it's drastically off. By tonight night I'll be exhausted, and maybe I'll be able to sleep at a normal time. Then it starts again.

I always try and get some sleep, even if I do feel awful in the morning.

Doesnt always work for me - the day passes & im shattered, struggling to stay awake. Then night comes round again and the pre-planned 'sensible' bedtime, but despite having been awake for 40+ hours im suddenly wide awake and raring to go.

I seem to cycle at around 25 hours in a day. It makes me tired a lot because my schedule interferes with the natural circadian rhythm which follows the solar cycle. I'd be so much happier if the earth agreed with me and slowed down just a bit. :)

Well, my plan did not work. I fell asleep at 8 this morning and slept most of the day. >_> But I feel much better now. :)
