There are 3 pecan trees in my backyard. They keep producing nuts. I've been compulsively gathering them because it's a relaxing activity. Now I have about 40 pounds of unshelled pecans. I can only eat so many plain and I don't like pecan pie (too sweet). Does anyone have any ideas or recipes?

There was an endless pecan harvest here in Wichita Falls. THey are all over the sidewalks at my college, and at the park where I often jog.

As for recipes, I can't help you. I love pecan pie, though.

Tim

Roasted pecans with brown sugar are good.

That sounds tastey! Maybe I'll try it.
