Does anyone think this looks like a place where there is adventure to be had?

It certainly looks very weird and mysterious. And I'm pretty sure that it would be quite an adventure
getting there, finding food that one could eat, and accommodation that can sleep in, if not such an
adventure actually living there, which might in fact be quite dreadfully tedious. ;) Who lives there?

.

This one looks rather like the one in "Batman Begins"; I wonder whether it is the same one.

What a great idea for a thread! :D

Pictures of mysterious and weird and interesting places that are like "stories" to look at.

Fantastic! Those last two places must give people a healthy respect for life. One wrong move and you're falling off a cliff! :D

Yep. In any of several genres.

It would be nice if people posting photos would let us know what/where/who those are photos of. :?

The first picture in this thread is a photograph of a village on the Hajjaz Mountains in the middle-eastern country Yemen. I'm afraid I don't know the village's name.
