where do you look when you're thinking

I find that many times when I am in deep thought, I look slightly to my lower left. I also do this when I am visualizing something. It just feels more comfortable and natural to look in that direction.

Anyone else have any similar habits?

mid left or lower right.. and I stare hard to the point that people have to push me to bring me out of it

When I am thinking? I look more at google

On a serious note, I would say more direct left. I might also suggest slightly up also, but I can't confirm by doing thought experiments right here right now.

Hmm, I was trying to think of the answer to this question and found myself lowering my head and looking to the left, so I guess that's my answer.

Always to the left, right never seems um, right . Never considered that before, it may have something to do with being right or left brained.

When I'm thinking about something I usually look at something other than what I was just looking at and start thinking about it.

This chain continues for a while until I can't remember what I was initially thinking about. XD
