This drives me crazy

at the top of gel pen caps there is always a little ball or disc of rubber, and i dont' know why but it drives me crazy. i have to get it out...gah.

It's there to create an airtight seal with the tip of the actual pen so that it doesn't run dry.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to ask a pen's permission before doing such a thing.

yes, i must agree on this annoyance...i'm starting an alliance for the things at the top of gel pen caps.
