Inspired by the salt thread

For as long as I can remember I'm not a big fan of gravy, my mum always said she heard that kids/people with Autism/On the spectrum dont like gravy, but these days I love a good bit of chicken gravy on a roast chicken, the others I can't stand

Is this pure bollocks or is it known? do you like gravy?

I dunno I just thought it was wierd

Kind of a strange thread... but yeah, thats just not true. One of my favorite foods is mashed potatoes and gravy. (And no, the ones I make aren't bland at all)

I don't eat Gravy because I am vegan.

When I wasn't vegan, I ate it...but I can't say that I liked it. When I was younger my mother used to force me to eat it.
I don't honestly think that whether or not you like gravy has anything to do with AS.

It depends on what sort of gravy, has to be homemade for me...

and then love all sorts of gravies veggie or meat and always have to have on mash!

As can affect your diet, but its usually things like lumpy mash that are worse, ruins gravy for me anyway :tired:

I like gravy but only if I make it myself so I know what's gone in it.

I don't like those powdered instant gravies you can get; I make mine properly from the meat juices and caramalised veg.

Yes please - gravy & lots of it! (Not on chips or fries, though - makes them soggy!)

I always complain in restaurants if there is not enough gravy.

Hate gravy, never liked gravy, always order a meal with no gravy.

OK, you get the idea, KolinUK and I share something.

Oh yeah. And may I suggest that it be a crime punishable by birching to serve gravy with steak. That is all.

I like gravy very much actully! I usually drown the fish when we have some sort of fish for dinner. So I just taste the gravy (I hate fish). I also use gravy on potatoes, but not on chicken or beef, I like the taste of those.
