Mine was 1980. That's when I and my sister were born, my dad still had a good job and was alive, mom was still able to walk, the NES was the coolest console around, cartoons still had some merit, and more.

What is your favorite decade and why?

1990's. The 60's I don't remember, the 70's were the absolute worst, 80's a little better and the 90's better still

1920's, I'm tempted to say. I like silent movies and I know quite a lot about gangsters from the Prohibition era. I'd like to live in Chicago in that time.

The 1960s because the time period from roughly 1998
to now is starting to become a repeat of then.

Or is it just me? :?

I can't really say for certain, but the media is trying the best it can do to make the Iraq war look like Vietnam... or are you referring to Civil Liberties or to drug use?

I couldn't decide. I get obsessed with various decades, at different times. For a long time I was fascinated with the Roaring Twenties, then it was the Forties, and now it is Victorian and Edwardian eras

The 40s.

It's when most of WWII happened, and we broke the sound barrier, and the Space Age began.

I don't get obsessed with decades in particular, but the events and goings on within an era, which can stretch for decades and centuries.
