Random Discussion
For non-Asperger's related random discussion. Talk about anything and everything not covered in the other forums here. From shoes and ships and sealing wax, to cabbages and kings!

I'M SO ANGRY WITH US ALL!

I have YET to see ONE topic on SHOES, SHIPS, SEALING WAX, CABBAGES, AND KINGS!

Now... I want everyone to take a time out and think about this.... Alex has made it VERY CLEAR the range of topics to be discussed here and I think we should respect his wishes.

OH... and for the moderators who haven't caught this little error yet?.... Image

I think he was giving examples...

But I wouldn't mind talking about kings. Royalty is interesting to me.

I was thinking… I’m in the mood for some raw cabbage. That’s it, just a big hunk of raw cabbage to masticate on. It would help me feel a bit better since I feel a bit peckish seeing how I haven’t had much to eat today. I’ve been concentrating on shoes, well, not really shoes, but a pair of boots. Steam punk boots to be exact.

Oh, I would also like a streamer trunk. Not for carrying onto a ship, but to store things I rarely use and the one I have now needs replaced. The poor thing has been through hell…

I was playing checkers the other day with a good friend of mine who has a nasty habit of shouting, “King me!” when I’m not paying attention. Or maybe were we playing chess and he was messing with my head trying to confuse me even further.

I fear I will not be able to send off this letter to my cousin, for I am out of sealing wax. Once again, my plans are thwarted due to my not being prepared.

Is that better? I managed to apply it to one post instead of multiple threads. I like simplicity... It may be a little disjointed, but anything I type longer than one sentence is bound to be full of random thoughts. I wonder if my tea is done.

Well, of course we all know that royalty started this whole 'shoe' business anyway... they were the only ones who could afford shoes back then!
The rest of the people... the common people... the types relegated to the hold of the ships instead of luxurious cabins annointed with all manner of dressing vanity, perfume, stationary and sealing wax... walked around barefoot eating cabbage every meal.

I say "DOWN WITH THE KING" and his shoes!

I think that sealing wax would make a good stim toy. Possibly for a king.

I object to you automatically treating me like an inferior!
These taxes you impose are remnants of oudated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society!

We're an anarcho-syndicalist commune!

Straying off the topic topic

I would rather open a philosophy factory, and invite speculation about that weird thing they found at the bottom of the lake.
This must have something to do with living on the Autism Spectrum. How new are you to Cabbages and Kings, a new Off the Wall board game. One size does not fit all members. This is why some of us are parents of children who live on the Autism Spectrum. Do you need a haven when you are taking courses? Or is it just plain hard work finding a job? Art, writing, and music helps you not to feel like a dull boy (or girl). Whizz kids love computers, math, science and technology. Games, sports, and fitness are not just for the NT crowd. We are even more imaginative. Politics, philosophy and religion are bound to stir up the proverbial shite. Adult Asperger's issues are the spicey side order on WP. Sometimes I wish I were 28 or 29 again when I am in the In-Depth Life Discussion. I now feel much more than 40+ and getting creakier and crankier by the nanosecond. The Women's discussion always has men on board, so when they get the WP version of Spike TV, we will visit them and have them worried. Counting the kids who come out of the crater is an issue for WP.Net stats. I wonder if I would learn another language if the Spanish, German, French and Dutch aspies offered some intro language courses here!

So there you have it, wsmac. I hope I have stayed on all the topics covered here at WP, and I must include shoes, ships and sealing wax as well, though I have had little experience in these areas.

Thank you for your time.

In my late childhood I used to find the British royal ramily fascinating. I remember that once when I was spending my summer holidays with my grandparents I started to collect articles about Diana, Charles, the Queen and all the rest of the happy royal family :D
