What have you learned this year that you didn't know in previous years?

I learned that:

1. Chuck Norris *can* divide by zero.

2. Colorado is just one big strip mine.

3. Spain's film industry can kick France's film industry's a**.

Dividing by zero isn't proper use of mathematics if the number is truly zero, but think of this:

x/1=x
x/0.1=10x
x/0.01=100x
x/0.001=1000x
x/0.0001=10000x
Etcetera ad infinitum

As the denominator approaches zero the coefficient for x approaches infinity.

I've learned what Asperger's Syndrome is. And the meaning of the word "neurodiversity". And that people in the autism spectrum are not all alike and can be very different from the picture that the other people usually have of them.

- Kazakhstan has a decently-sized Jewish community, and they have a chief rabbi.
- I should really become a graphic designer and save the acting/performing stuff for the side.
- Sharia law was considered very progressive for its time. (That was really, really disturbing, considering how barbaric it is.)
- There are books at my library about a supposed Armenian conspiracy. Seriously, what the hell did the Armenians do to deserve that?
- Guitar Hero is available for Macs.
