As inspired by another poll, I may consider relocating after I graduate from college.
If all goes well, I will graduate from Portland State in June 2012.

I love Portland but seeing how obscenly hipster it is growing,
there could be no way I, as an Aspie, could keep up with all of it.

Even if I moved, I would have to become used to paying state tax.

I want to move to Atlanta really badly when I'm older, so I chose that one. Plus I can't stand the cold.

Yikes.. choosing between Washington DC and NYC is like choosing Herpes or Gonorrhea. Personally, I'd probably go with Portland or Seattle. I should travel more. I'm hopefully visiting Montpelier & Burlington (Vermont) sometime this summer. I'll only be able to resist making a Vermont thread for so long.. I love that state a little too much. :?

I lived in the Atlanta area for a while. On the average, I saw about 2 inches of snow every winter. Winters may be relatively mild compared to being up north but once every few years, you can get really nailed with an ice storm during the winter.

I believe Portland, ME has the cheapest sales tax of all (or most) of the options, but the payroll tax is really high. The cost of most things (rent, etc.) is lower than in most cities. And it wasn't hip at all, last I checked.

New York! I knew it was the most stimulating city in the world since I was 10 years old. Taxes? So what? I loved disasters, and New York has had lots. I loved huge chaotic families, and New York has lots. I loved cities with publicity and fame and infamy, and New York has lots. I was into class drama and New York has lots. I was into crime (well, into America's Msot Wanted) and New York had lots. I was into variety and New York has lots in every way. Whatever you feel like, you can find it in New York!
